About Aline
Hi, my name is Aline Thompson and I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a board certified orthopedic clinical specialist who has been treating people in pain for 20 years.
After obtaining a bachelor's degree in biology, I earned a master's degree in physical therapy from Arcadia University in1997. In 2015, I completed my clinical doctorate degree - with distiction from the same institution.
Over the years I have blended my knowledge of human movement with a diverse and progressive approach to the assessment and treatment of patients with musculoskeletal complaints. My strategy is to thoroughly examine the ‘whole’ person from a functional movement perspective while considering the many possible factors that might be influencing someone's complaints. The care I provide is highly customized and built on a solid relationship with my patients.
As a former collegiate athlete who strives to stay active, I understand the frustrations of physical limitations. As a busy working parent, I know how easy it is to simply tolerate little aches and pains. I believe in order to give the best of ourselves we need to first take care of ourselves. Much of health and wellness involves moving well. Getting you to accomplish this is my specialty.
In my free time I love hiking, running, snow shoeing and skiing. I can often be found with my nose in a book or scouring the latest hot restaurant here in Denver.
